05 · YOUR AGENT IN TAIWAN

Moving to Taiwan?
You already have someone here.

Your personal agent — from the first message before you land, to long after you move in. Bilingual, online, and free.

THE PROBLEM

Renting in Taiwan
shouldn’t feel like this.

"Everything is in Chinese."

The listing sites, the contracts, the landlord’s messages — all in Chinese. The few you can read usually aren’t the good ones.

"Sorry, no foreigners."

No local credit history means many landlords simply decline — and it has nothing to do with who you are.

"Sign first, discover later."

Clauses you can’t read, move-out rules buried in Article 14. By the time you find out, you’ve signed.

You don’t need to fight this system. You need someone on the inside.

NOT A BROKER

We’re not a broker.
We’re your landlord — and your agent.

Everywhere in the world there are brokers who help foreigners find housing: they negotiate with the landlord for you, charge a fee, and say goodbye the day you sign. Woowaa is different — we own, design and operate these spaces ourselves. Your agent isn’t a middleman; they speak for the landlord, because they are the landlord. Which means:

ONE PERSON · THREE CHAPTERS

One person, with you for three chapters.

Before you land

  • Online consultation: budget, area, commute, how you live
  • We shortlist spaces for you and tour them live on video
  • Bilingual contracts, explained clause by clause, signed online

Landing week

  • We meet you at the door on move-in day
  • Water, power and internet already on — just bring your bags
  • A local orientation: supermarket, clinic, gym, your coffee shop

Living here

  • The same agent stays your local contact: repairs, packages, anything
  • 24-hour online concierge plus bilingual on-site staff
  • Invitations to community events — rooftop cinema, dinners, the Urban Living Room
  • Renew, switch homes or move out with a single message

FAQ

Answers before you ask.

Is the agent service really free? What’s the catch?

Free, and no catch. We’re not brokers — we own and operate these spaces ourselves, so there are no agency fees and no middlemen to feed.

Can I sign the lease before arriving in Taiwan?

Yes. Contracts are bilingual, explained clause by clause, and can be signed online — your home can be settled before you board the plane.

How much deposit do I need?

One month. Leases are flexible, with stays from 30 days.

What does “all-inclusive pricing” cover?

Water, electricity, gas, internet, building fees and cleaning — plus full furniture, appliances and maintenance.

What languages do you support?

Bilingual Chinese-English service: a 24-hour online concierge plus bilingual on-site staff.

What if something breaks after I move in?

Message your agent. The person who found your home is the same person who handles it after you move in.

The hardest part of moving abroad
is not having anyone there.
Now you do.

You don’t need to be ready to talk. Still comparing cities, haven’t booked a flight — say hi anyway.
